Definitely some of the younger gals -- Brittney Spears sounds like a mouse, and I don't think mice should sing.
Divas like Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and Whitney H. are good --but sometimes get on my nerves when they do too many trills --going up and down on what is supposed to be one note --and just sing overly dramatic and loud.
Sometimes I just want to hear the melody and not 50 million notes added in. Soft and smooth can be nice at times.
Whitney can be great when she gets in a gospel mode.
Another annoying voice is Michael Bolton --he sounds screechy and like he is constantly straining his vocal chords.

To me the most overrated singer is Michael Bolton. His voice gets on my nerves as he seems to kind of a screeching sound to his voice kind of like he is whining. Sorry to all you Bolton fans out here but he's overrated as far as I'm concerned.
