No it does not is the short answer. We are more likely to daffy duck it all through our interference's,both unintentional and deliberate(See large array of pylon structures in north America that "allegedly" alter the upper atmosphere and deflect "jet"stream) on the planets climate.WE are being told that the climate is altering "anyway" we are also being told that we need to find clean energy(cynically i think the oils about sucked dry and big business,gov-ts and the world banks are manipulating us,they know its running out and they will want the same revenues and investment capital transferred by you and me and our wish to go green, hence the push now)Our climate is changing have no doubt, but so are other planets. (Mars has an increased temp that matches the earths increase,no people there that i know of at the moment)Back to our lunar companion. Some effects will be subtle like calmer tides, the rotation of the earth could slow or speed up (depending on our orbit of the sun and what happens to the wobble in earths rotation)It is a long way off in human time,so do not Panic as Douglas Adams so eloquently put it in the hitch hikers guide to the galaxy.

The moon is moving away from earth. And the sun is also dying. These processes occur very slowly. It wouldn't hurt much to our earth much as it will hurt a child when his innocence is erased. And if it disaster that you are concerned, I guess what you should hope is that the world won't be melted by a nuclear world war before the day the moon finally flies off into space.

No. It spells the end of tides. The moon was vital to stabilizing the Earth's rotation when Earth and the moon was being formed. Now days, however, if the moon were gone, there would not be a severe difference.

The Moon isn't being pulled more advantageous away with the help of the daylight's gravity. imagine about it: the Moon and the Earth are at about an identical distance from the daylight, with tiny month-to-month differences. The sunlight IS pulling the Moon, notwithstanding it is also pulling the Earth with in basic terms about an identical rigidity in preserving with kilogram. that signifies that the centripetal acceleration of the Moon is an same because the centripetal acceleration of the Earth, and one isn't transferring in direction of the daylight speedier than the different. as well, if that were the reason, you may want to anticipate to work out the Moon's orbit starting to be more advantageous elongated in direction of the daylight. notwithstanding the Earth-Moon distance is transforming into everywhere in the Moon's orbit, so there might want to be yet another ingredient at artwork. The Moon motives a tidal bulge in Earth's oceans, which signifies that water dealing with in direction of and faraway from the Moon is stretched out somewhat. The outcome isn't a lot, compared to the diameter of the Earth, notwithstanding this is actual. If the Earth were no longer rotating, the tidal bulge might want to line up completely with the Earth-Moon line. notwithstanding, the Earth IS rotating, and it sweeps the tidal bulge ahead a tiny bit. because the mass of the tidal bulge is "ahead" of the Moon, it motives the Moon to boost up in its orbit. a more advantageous orbital speed potential a larger orbit, and so each century the Moon strikes somewhat more advantageous out by way of tide-caused acceleration. obviously, kinetic ability won't be able to easily be created like that. because the Moon features kinetic ability, it robs it from the Earth. by way of Earth's tidal interplay with the Moon, the Earth's day is likewise slowly getting longer. we can not see any noticible change in our lifetimes, yet in some million years we are going to might want to invent new clocks if we are nevertheless round as a species.

The moon is moving away VERY slowly. The effects on our climate will be gradual, and will not be noticeable for some time. Life on Earth will have time to adapt. Global Warming, however, is another matter...

in the 4:6 billion years since the earth formed the moon has moved very slightly further away and does so each year by an insignificant amount

Not really, no. The moon is responsible for the tides, some evening lighting and not much else.

The world won't stop because there are no more high or low tides, things will just be a little more stable.

Yes it will but that event is so far in he future that it isn't really worth worrying about. Science channel runs a show "What if we had no moon". Look for it.

I dont think the moon is moving away from the earth, if it is,then is is moving at a very slow rate. Probably we have a million or two years left. That is plenty for me and my children and grand children, and their grand children also.

What difference does it make? Nobody has any control over the sun moon stars and other astronomical bodies. The scientists can give all the calculations, but nobody can do anything about it.

If at all anything needs to be done. It is God the supreme power, and the supreme religion which is the mother of all religion (Christian,Muslim,Hindu,Jews, Sikh etc.) who can do it. Shouting with the name of the religion is not acceptable in the supreme level, it is only good to fight wars.

So pray to the supreme power to save our future generation form any evil effects.
