Yes, some girls do listen to Heavy Metal.... SLAYER!
I don't think that music is ever really gender focused. I mean you do see more guys at a metal concert, but there are a ton of chicks there too. I personally love heavy metal, punk, rockabilly and psychobilly....the music is just good.

Of course they do, I love it, and alternative.. although I can't stand emo music, I know that had nothing to do with the question but I still hate it.

Wanna hear something unique? I listen to metal. I am on a Nu Metal kick right now.
A few of my favorites are Disturbed,System of a Down, Sevendust, Slipknot, Rage Against the Machine, A Perfect Circle and Primus.
And yes, I am the only black woman I know that listens. But I know a few black men who listen too. :-)

my brother loves hear i recently went to a free lacuna coil concertand the guys(and some girls) were all over her!
and yes i listen to heavy metal (slipknot, korn, icp, etc)

I love metal, most of what I like is metal. That or alternative. Anything that is out there making a statement that hasn't been made, then made over again. Sadly, even metal is starting to go down that path.

I listen to Heavy Metal, but I like classic and the rock form when I was growing up. Some of my faves are Ozzy, Montley Crue, Metallica, and ACDC.
