Email stories with a conservative slant are being sent to me often. I think those stories are not entirely true and I wonder if they come from one particular source. Does anyone know about this?

Funny that you ask. I just received the same email and was wondering about it. According to Snopes.com, it did not come from Jay Leno. A man named Craig R. Smith actually wrote it. Check it out: http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/hitnail.asp

Nope, it's not. I got the same e-mail and I thought it sounded fishy, so I did what I always do with such e-mails. I went to snopes.com and typed in Jay Leno as a search. Guess what the first urban legend to pop up was. I'm still getting the e-mail that Bill Gates is giving away his money to people who forward an e-mail. Where do people come up with this stuff? I mean if Bill Gates was giving away all his money, I think that would have made the evening news.

Jay Leno jokes about everyone...he often makes comments about "spoiled Americans" but he makes fun of everyone else too. That's what comedians do.
