It depends on how close you are to them. If you're really close to them then after awhile you'll miss them. If they're just someone you met online and you've only known them for a few days, you'll probally forget about them within a week or so.

I've gone through several circles of online friends at this point, though there's only one specific group I keep returning to. Generally speaking, the people I meet online are all completely irrational, neurotic individuals. They invariably get more and more crazy the closer I get to them, until they eventually become completely intolerable and a general pain to associate with.
There are a couple girls I wish I could contact again, but the problem is that they're rather entrenched in the old social circles, and would inevitably leak that I was still alive. Frankly, I enjoy the general assumption that I'm dead.

I would only miss a couple of them and that because i have been talking to them for years. But I believe mostly that the others are just acquaintances and don't really know them enough to miss them.

I will admit I would not miss most of them, but some I would miss very much, I really am close to some of them since we share strong opinions and intrests.

Oh, yes. My only contact with the world these days. All the houses on this street are for sale and with the price of gas the way it is......... Yes, I would miss them.

Maybe not all, but most of them.
There's some I haven't talked to in quite a while but all of my current friends I would miss badly.

YES I do!! I miss them over the weekends when I am out with my real friends who think i am crazy cuz I love my P&S
