She was known for her comedic skills and screen presence, going on to become one of the most popular movie stars of the 1950s and early 1960s. She was a beautiful but troubled 'damsel'. She was the blond 'vulnerable' bombshell that men wanted to protect and ravish. She oozed sex appeal with her deliberate swagger (apparently she'd cut the one heel of her shoes to give her that famous walk.)
She was full-bodied and 'ripe', appealing to the whole fertility symbol. She had an affair with at least one of the Kennedy's and life was cut tragically and mysteriously short. Because the paparazzi weren't as persistent or as big as they are today, she still remains a puzzle in some ways. gaps in her life are filled with rumour and speculation, and that is the stuff of legends. If she'd had lived to a ripe old age, had had kids and dies peacefully in her sleep, she might have faded into obscurity. And so, in her seductive pouty poses in colour and black and white posters, she will forever be immortalised.

She was known for stepping up to a mike and singing happy birthday to President Kennedy. She had a huge impact I believe in the 20th century. Her marriages and her affairs are pretty much known and she is known especially for the scene where her skirt is blown up.

If she had not had the affair with Kennedy she more than likely would not have died so young.
