To early to make any decisions. Had there been Australia in our place they would have 500 in a single day. If we take the first test or the one dayers there wasn't a feeling of dominance. We won rather comfortably(one dayers) but not with huge margins. Infact we won only because they made mistakes. I will gauge the form of the team only after it plays against some big teams like SA.

Well............ i feel theres nothing great about india's performance against bangladesh. It was expected of them to perform well specially after the drubbing they received by the bangladeshi batsman in world cup. There are so many problems within the team itself including the players and the board officials that one can't expect this indian team to come back to form so quickly. It will take some time before the internal matters are sorted out and only then can we expect the team to really do well. For the time being they should play more often against the weaker teams like scotland, bermuda (im not even saying kenya coz they've beaten us a few times) to get their confidence back n at the same time i hope the internal problems might get sorted out too. But for the moment dont even think that team india is back in form............. and if u really want to test them then let them play against formidable teams like australia or south africa and we will surely find out then.

Irrespective of the shock defeat at the hands of Bangladesh in the world cup, it was widely known that Bangladesh will be no match for India and as such nothing great has been achieved by winning the series against Bangladesh except a morale boosting tonic for Indian Team.

India did excellent and deserves all the praise for their ODI and Test performances in Bangladesh.

However, it is said that India sometimes plays nervously 'under pressure', which was not the case when they faced Bangladesh.

With our Dave Whatmore in Indian camp as new coach and the lesson Indian players learned in ICC CWC 2007, it is expected that these Indian team has come to their senses and would play like a solid team from henceforth.

Keep up the good spirit, the Indian Team Members!

Too little too late. Yeah, they played well in the first test and have so far done well in the second, but let's not anoint them (in fact we can't) as a great team. They're a good team that should beat Bangla Desh. As for exacting revenge for the world cup, that's not happening. The world cup was THE WORLD CUP (in front of the entire world) where we played Bangla Desh (considered minnows) and LOST to them. To somehow think that this performance is going to get the bitter taste out of the mouth is not true. Talk to any of the players and they'll tell you that it still hurts. I have talked to a few ex-players and they think this will last to the next world cup.

Good practice match but india should work on beating Australia in the near future.

I cant tell if it was a great performance because Bangladesh is one of the weaker teams in world cricket.

they'we developed on their batting skils which was lacking in them during the last series esp against sa.
They found a good opener in Karthick instead of Sehwag/Ganguly/Sachin.
Indians found good pace options with VRV Singh hitting 140+kmph and RP Singh getting better swing than Zaheer.
Indians have to develop more on their bowling attack esp without Kumble.
