I'm having the routine 1 hour test this afternoon. She said don't eat an hour before the test, and don't eat any sweets all day. I'm kind of worried about that whole wheat bagel I had for breakfast because I know starches break down into sugar. Is this going to affect my test negatively? I also had peanut butter on celery for a snack. What should I have for lunch?

Something light but filling. You don't want to down a pint of ice cream, but a sandwich or salad, or soup is fine. Don't pig out, eat just enough to make you comfortable.

Warning- the orange stuff you drink is Dextrose which is a form of sugar. It tastes like really bad orange pop, makes you feel like vomiting (at least it did with me) and baby will get a case of the extreme wiggles about 20 minutes after it hits your system.

Other than the fact that it wastes over an hour of your day and they stick with you needles at the end, it's not that bad. Bring a good book.

The well-being practitioner did no longer tell me that i could be having my glucose try till I have been given there that day. I had eaten breakfast at 6 a.m. and my appointment became at 9. They reported it may be okay to have the try at 10. i does not flow devoid of eating all day. The orange stuff they make you drink isn't great, even if it extremely in basic terms tastes like orange Kool-help with way too lots sugar in it (it is almost sludgy). it extremely is a small cup and you may desire to drink it interior of one minute, which wasn't perplexing. i did no longer get the result till my next appointment. They did a finger stick before i began out the attempt to envision my usual blood sugar and then took a vial of blood that became despatched to the lab for processing after an hour had exceeded. My result became usual, i'm valuable they could have reported as quicker if it hadn't been.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Becautious of eatting too many starches and no sugar. This happened to me and YOU DO NOT WANT THE 3 HOUR to make sure. I caused such a stink that I insisted they retest me for the 1 hour again and passed the second time and make absolute sure with your own watch that a full hour has passed, not 50 minutes but a whole hour.
