Ok. Last time I checked this was a free country and a man could say what he wants. Everybody is jumping on Clinton Portis for speaking his mind. SHUT THE F*CK UP!!! Everybody wants to be Politically Correct nowadays. So what he said some stupid things. BIG F*CKING DEAL!! It's not against the law to say dumb things. I can understand why he said "everybody should mind their own business." People, Vick HASN'T BEEN CHARGED WITH ANYTHING!!!! Do I think he's been involved in dog fighting? Yes. Do I think dog fighting is wrong? Absolutley. But there isn't any evidence, so far, to link him to it. There have been "reports" that people saw him at dog fights years back. That may very well be true, but they have no evidence to prove it, and nobody can be charged based solely on hearsay.
A man or woman is innocent until proven guilty in the U.S. of A., there's no evidence as of yet, to link Mike of dog fighting. He says he owned the house and was never there. Believeable story because he's in GA most of the year. As far as him not knowing about dog fighting going on the house: I very seriously doubt that. But, aside from what I and everybody else thinks, NOTHING HAS BEEN PROVEN!!! IT'S ALL SPECULATION SO FAR!!! Let the case play itself out and take it from there. Now, I'm not defending everything Ports said, because he said some pretty stupid things. Some things we SHOULD keep to ourselves. But he did have a good point in saying, the media and everybody else needs to back off a little bit.
As far as who I think is the bigger idiot, I say there both pretty dumb, but the media is really starting to look like the biggest idiot. They keep harping on this story and there's no new, real news breaking developments in this mess. The only things that have come about lately, are people who say they've spotted Michael Vick at dog fights. If you haven't noticed, everytime some high profile case like this pops up, there's always a Joe Schmoe or a Suzie Q who spotted this person doing something they shouldn't have been doing. Half the time, those people see somebody who may look like that person and they think it's them and next thing you know, they make the news because they THINK they saw such and such at a certain place at a certain time. I'm not saying they aren't telling the truth, because they could be, but the media blows this stuff up and feed people this crap, all in the name of ratings, and we as consumers are dumb enough to believe anything the media feeds us. Get some common sense everybody and take a chill pill. Ok, I'm done ranting.
GO BRONCOS!!!

Neither... vick said that he didnt even know that the dog fighting was going on, he just owned the residence.... people (media) need to mind their own business. This dog fighting incident is just another way to cause problems for vick. People need to lay off and stop hating on vick. Portis was just defending vick about people needing to mind their own business. We all know that most people hate vick just because he doesnt pass well, but its a team sport and atlanta hasn't had any good recievers in years. So what if he runs, he makes plays happen. If he sucked he wouldnt be a #1 draft pick be the highest payed player in the league. Yes, vick owned the property... but it doesnt make him nor portis and idiot!

Portis, cuz he should have kept his mouth shut and not draw any attention to himself. There is no evidence Vick did anything except buy his cousin a house and not check to see what he was doing.

I had to flip a coin, but I picked Portis. Anybody stupid enough to let his mouth overtake his brain while answering a question like he did deserves all the crap he gets. No wonder the guy's teammate was laughing- he KNEW Portis' mouth was overloading his, er, behind.

vick actually did the crime, postis said he supports him. in my opinion it makes vick the bigger idiot because knowing dog fighting is a felony, he chose to do it anyway. portis is a jokester we know that because he is always dressing up as weird people during interviews and stuff. vick is the same guy who flips off his own fans at home.
