They will trump up another Abu Ghraib, Gitmo, or "innocent civilian" murder scenario to once again, hit our country`s servicemen and attempt to repulse the American people. The libs like to mix things up this way.

No, it wasn't and no, you're not right. The Dem's know two things. They know that they didn't have a veto proof majority. They also know that several republican members of congress have made it clear to Bush that if they don't see improvement in Iraq by the fall that he will lose their support. Appropriations will also come up again for vote in the fall. If the situation has changed then great. If not, the democrats will have more support on the republican side than they had this time around. There is more involved here than the talking points you hear on right wing radio.

Not all our soldiers are republican, you can't make that generalization.
The reason that the bill got passed without a date as the democrats had wanted is because they did not want to leave our soldiers stranded without the supplies they need, don't think that Bush won't ask for more money in the future. We still need to get pull out date. and I'm sure we'll keep working on it. The Iraqi leadership needs to realize they are going to have to take responsibility for there own security and start running their country. They need to know that they need to step up to the plate.

A bunch of my liberal democratic friends were going to send a $80,000 to Osama bin Laden to put Republican soldiers in danger, of course. What's messed up our plan was that we dont' have Osama's address. For that matter, neither does Bush!
While we're at it, Bushie is doing a great job on capturing that anthrax mailer too!

Bush wasn't going to allow Congress to do their job. He promised to veto any bill that gave a date for pulling out.
At least there are "benchmarks" the Iraqi's must meet in order to continue to receive US help. Let's just hope the Iraqi's can muster up the necessary strength to stand up for themselves. And for your information, the liberals have no plans to help al qaeda. Your silly questions only perpetuate the partisan hatred.

Bullets, IEDs don't ask about political party. Democrats, Republicans, Liberitarians are all 'targets'. Fighting for a cause that has SOME criteria of win is one thing, continuing to send our men and women to be targets in what is the equivalent of a civil war is another.
I hope that - in September, we can stop this nonsense of "emergency" funding on a war that is 5 years old. Iraq belongs to the Iraqis... let them be their own police.

Oh Pleeeeze! You know better than that. The Democrats are right on plan. There NEVER was any desire not to fund the troops. In fact they gave Dubya more than he asked for. They will, as planned, keep the pressure on to bring our people home. As more come home in body bags we will see even Republicans in Congress demand a withdrawl date. Bush F'd up and you know it. Republican soldiers? How do you know their political leanings? Did you personally go over to Iraq and ask each and every soldier his or her political affiliation?
Questions like this show the world that we obviously have poor schools as such idiotic questions would never be posed.

The 'huge defeat' . LOL
Congress just gave Bush funding for 4 months worth of war.
You help Al Qaeda and the terrorists when you accuse other American citizens and create the dissent and divide the terrorsts desire.

Apparently the Repubs started their own army.....
You should probably take your pills.
Just so you know-Im in favor of the withdrawl dates, because I would like my family members to make it back to the US in one piece and quickly. As bad as it is to pull out, it is worse to force soldiers to be over there being shot at and killed in what is clearly a civil war.

Wow, so now you have to be Republican to be in the military and yet the military goes after the low income americans which generally tend to be (or vote for) democrats so I am confused as to what you are asking?
