Can't really afford to but I have to admit that yes been running non stop for about three days now. I live on the second floor in a building with a flat roof. Been in the 90's for four days and I just couldn't handle only the fan. Had to break down. Do not even want to see my bill next month.

Nope! I prefer open windows and ceiling fans...I love the smell of a summer breeze - especially after grass has been mowed, or if someone is barbecuing - or there's been a light rain! (Of course, at work I don't get much choice - our windows don't open, so I'm STUCK with AC - but it's not on right now.)

No. I live in North Caroling, so I may have to turn it on this weekend. I prefer open windows and doors but when it gets over 82 I turn it on more for my dog than for me.
