how old are they suppose to live for.. i have one that is losing muscle mass rapidly, and weight.. i think its old age.. but i dont know the average life span.. my gecko is 9-10 years old

i have one that is 16 and yes i remember a few years back he was super skinny and i totally thought he was on the outs, but i fed him a pinky, gave em a bath, and some crickets and serioulsly like a week later he looked like his normal self again, and that was three years ago. they can live for up to 20 years, and probably more

As for gecko lifespan---Its lifespan is around 16 years. The longest one has ever lived in captivity is 20 years. Nobody knows how long they live in the wild, but they do know that they live alone

Generally up to 20 years, but in captivity it's always a little less- I'd estimate an average of about 15 years or so.

Hmm yours can live for a few more years. Around 5-10

well as far as i've heard they live up to 22 years
