Clinton lied during a grand jury testimony.
Bush didn't.
I'm not excusing Bush, but I am stating the facts.

Despite what Conservatives will say, Clinton lied about sex. Yes, he was under oath at the time, but it was still about sex. A subject that is very personal.
But Bush has lied under the oath that he took when he was sworn in. There weren't any WMD's in Iraq. We didn't need to go there. We aren't making progress. And he has still failed to give the American people a full progress report on everything that's happened in Iraq.
Bush should have been impeached years ago when we realized that he was ******* it up. We could impeach him now, but we've almost waited too late. By the time Congress got everything they needed to impeach him, we would have elected a new President.
This greatly shows us exactly how fooled we were in 2000 and 2004.

Calm Down Conservatives! U R right Clinton was not impeached for Sex, and Perjury is a major offense, but does anybody even wonder why the heck the question was asked, who cared if he was having sex with Lewinsky, I DON'T now and I did not then. I do care about the economy, equal opportunities, the end of racism, the end of war, children in America not going hungry, fighting disease, you know stuff that threatens my family and my well being.
Meanwhile, The war on terrorism is going on and on and on. I am so sick of hearing the same old thing about WMD. You conservatives get angry because the American people want to see where the threat truly is, to have some foundations (besides faulty intelligence) as to why our family members and people of this great nation are in a foreign land dying! We just want proof, and that does not make us less intelligent as implied, or less American. And to the person who compared Our Former President and current Senator (CLINTON'S) to Hitler's rise in power- SHAME ON YOU.
P.S. The AMERICAN economy was in a lot better shape Pre-Bush Administration. Maybe because focuses were more on home and less on Iraq.

Is the world crazy-- or are you misinformed from listening to too many liberal talking heads out there with agendas? What's more likely? I'm not sure what "...Bush lied about going to war" means (when did he "lie about going to war"-- did he say we didn't go??). Most everyone at the time, including the congress who AGREED with him, strongly believed Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. Even without that fact we're talking about a country run by a madman who murdered his own people, had ties to terrorist groups and broke numerous UN resolutions for which it had been warned a decade earlier that the consequences were invasion. There's no real evidence that Bush "lied" about anything. Meanwhile, Clinton very definitely committed PURGURY-- an extremely serious crime regardless the reason behind it. Our entire judicial system fails when people stop believing it matters.

Clinton tried to cover an affair he had with Monica Lewinsky. at the same time as less than oath, he stated he "did no longer have sexual realations with that female." It become later uncovered as a lie. The Republicans contained in the abode of Representatives impeached Clinton for perjury. notwithstanding, on the impeachment trial, the Senate determined this become no longer grounds for eliminating him from the presidency. in my opinion, i theory the completed impeachment become petty and a waste of the president's time.

There are a couple of things wrong with your question. Bush did not lie about WMD, he went with the intelligence he was given, just as Clinton and the Congress were before Bush came into office. Clinton was charges with committing perjury to a Grand Jury and obstructing justice. A he lied right to our faces on television if my memory serves me right. The people who refuse to see the Clinton's for what they are a dangerous breed. And people wonder how Hitler came to power.

Actually, you need to get your facts straight. Clinton was impeached for Obstruction of Justice, a crime. Whether you agree with Bush or not, he has not committed any crime. If you don't agree with the war, perhaps you should turn your eyes to your fellow Democrats who refuse to stand up for their beliefs and de-fund it. It can't be both ways, the democratic controlled house just passed a funding measure for the war. If they actually stood by their convictions they would do something and end the war. The legislature does have this power. Everyone forgets the votes cast to bring us to where we are, among them was every ones favorite American woman, good ole Hillary.

Clinton was impeached for perjury. All of the false premises laced in the questions around here are really starting to get old.

I think that part of the Clinton issue is that he had a girl giving him a ******* in the Oval Office, i.e. he was having sex on the job, an offense for which most of us would get fired. Beyond that, I think that the key issue was that he committed perjury, a legal transgression.

Correction. Clinton went through impeachment for lying under oath in a court of law. In this country that's called perjury. Look it up, very serious offense.

A sexual harassment charge was presented to WJ Clinton while in office. He lied during the investigation twice. It was not about sex it was the giving false information during a criminal investigation which got him impeached and ultimately disbarred from practicing law.
Bush has not been involved in any criminal proceedings.
