I think that just boycotting one gas company isn't going to do it! I think that we just have to not buy gas at all. I had received an e-mail about May 15, 2007 not to buy gas at all for everyone. Well that day did come and most of the stations were empty but people didn't follow thru. There were some people still getting gas! So I didn't here anything about that day! But I made my mind up that I wasn't going to buy gas that day!
Look at the prices but people are still traveling this weekend! Hey wouldn't that be great if nobody traveled this weekend! I want to boycott too! But you are right about boycotting only 1 company at a time! Just let me know and I am willing to help you to do this! Somehow we have to boycott it as a whole! Do we go after Congress or the Senate or even the President? How about we keep bothering them! I am willing to do this too please just e-mail me!

Hi!
I've been leaving my vintage ride at home because of the ridiculous price of gas and taking the bus instead. That's my way of participating in the boycott against the greed of these evil gas moguls. I don't think these people have a bit of conscience because the fact that they are ripping off drivers doesn't seem to bother them one bit. Many of these drivers need their rides in order to make a living. Shame on those greedy buggers and their ridiculous prices!!!

It would be great if the boycotts really worked. I keep getting e-mails telling me different days, so who knows. I guess your not supposed to get gas at all on those days. Couldn't afford a new hybrid car, so I kept my suv and went out and bought a used, realiable 4 cylinder car for driving around! I guess every little bit helps!

A boycott can work but only if it is broadly supported. If everyone in America took a weeks vacation and stayed home the impact would be huge. the problem as I see it is that as a country we are unwilling to make the sacrifice to modify our lives enough impact the gas companies.

Heyy, even if you have time to boycott gas, it is unreasonable because the reason they raise the price is that gasoline is limited...very limited especially the fact we get from eastern world...and eastern world may decided how much to export to us...because of Iraq War, I'm sure they decided to get back at us by give us much less gas than they usually...that's when gas prices are go up...so you cannot do anythin' really...I suggest buy car like Prius...good luck

It would take the whole population participating to send a signal to the oil companies and nations. It will never happen, or at least until gasoline reaches five dollars a gallon.

Boycotts aren't working. The best we can do is conserve our gas so we don't have to buy it as often.

Dumb, will not work.
People need to use less gas, not just not purchase it one day.
