One person may make the same mistakes over and over again. Some people may make a mistake and learn from it.

We all go through the same stages of development in our lives. And at each stage we all make the same mistakes no matter how many times we are told.

A baby learning to walk always falls down.
A child at school always faces peer pressure.
A teenager always rebels against authority.
A 20 yr old thinks they are ready for marriage.
A 30 yr old thinks they are wise.
A 40 yr old has a midlife crisis.
A 50 yr old thinks they're old.
A 60 yr old reflects and wishes they did everything different.

You get the idea.

There can be many reasons why we continue making mistakes. We choose not to see (the signs) or we choose to see and ignore it. Sadly, mistakes are costly and a waste of time...one should try to learn from ones mistake, this way you mature and have a better chance of not committing the same mistake again, and break the vicious cycle.

I think we continue to make the same mistakes until we really get the lesson. Eventually, we have to learn the lesson and then we will break the cycle and be ready to move in a different direction in our lives. I've been divorced twice so believe me, I've been there. I've learned all my lessons in life the hard way.

The behavior is settled in the depth of our brain, just we face the same situation we behave automatically without allowing our behave to path through the thinking part of our brain, U can repair that by giving your self a minute of thinking before react.

because we are human and it is built in our genetic code. if we never made mistakes we would never learn and pretty much life would be boring.
