Bush is gonna sign a bill that doesn't give a timeline for troop withdrawl do you think that we will be in Iraq now for years to come??? whats your thoughts???

Just because he signs a bill that doesn't have withdrawal date doesn't mean he doesn' have one in his mind. Wait for the Generals to do their jobs, and our troops will return.

Bush and his people are making alot of money in the war so he does not want to send the troops home. What happening in iraq is it is a civil war. There will be no peace even with a million troops there. Unfortunately there are alot of Americans that believe all the lies coming from the republican party.

Well we've had troops in Korea since 1950, we've had troops in Europe, Far East and the UK since 1940's, we've had troops in Bosnia since 1996, so I think most of them will eventually come home, but it's important for the insurgents to understand that we are there for the long haul to ensure that the people of Iraq get their feet up under them.

Yes and hopefully soon, The Bill does set benchmarks for the Iraqi Government to stop dragging thier feet. I hope this will step it up and get our guys out of harms way soon.

Iraqi Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi recently said U.S.-led coalition forces should be able to withdraw from his country in a year and half at the latest, when Iraqi troops should be ready to handle security on their own.
