I have a chain link fence that works well. However, it is an eye sore. What vine plant can completly cover the chain link and never go dorment? I live in Florida,Tampa area. It nees to be drought tolerant Are there purhaps other options?

Hi I live in palm harbor fla about an hr away from you so I used clematis last year and this year I am using morning glories .So there you have it . good luck .

I would look for "Red Riding Hood" Mandevilla Vines. They are bushier and fuller than the pinks and yellows and would cover your fence in one summer. You'd have to keep it watered the first year while it gets established, but the end result is amazing.

Morning glories will cover a chain link fence and usually reseed themselves each year.

i live in florida and just did the same with the mandevilla vines and they are beautiful and you will love them once they establish and cover the fence..

I am not familiar with your planting area, but in my case, try clematis or grape ivy vine. they are beautiful when in bloom.
