i had an winrar i downloaded off limewire it wouldnt let me delete it and it said it was a system folder on winrar it wouldnt let me do anything to it move folder or anything i moved all contents from the folder that it was in and then deleted that folder and delted it again in recycle bin this seem to have done the trick but is it still there what is it anybody had something like this before?

Apparently something in the file is loading itself during boot up. Try booting the computer in Safe Mode (turn it on and repeatedly press the F8 key until you get a screen with the Safe Mode option) and then try deleting it. Safe Mode prevents any files from loading themself on boot up excep the minimum needed to run Windows.

Do the following. Press Start and in the RUN box type in regedit and click OK Next Open
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Uninstall. If you are not comfortable working with the Registry then go to www.tweakxp.com and in the Search Bar type in Learn a little more about your Registry or type in How to Work with the Registry.Tip. Any file sent to the recycle bin is NOT deleted. To properly Delete a file First of all Press and Keep Pressing SHIFT and then Press Delete.

never ever download n e software or ne thing from limewire other then videos and music...
everithing els is virus and kind of stuff.
all u have to do is turn off limewire...
if u can rename file try to rename it and then restart and then delete...
if this not working then try disable ne wired software from task manager proces tab...
something named like dis ~_-and wired names ....
and then try to remove...
if this didnot work then reboot ur pc
press f8 while booting it will give an option "safe mode"
and from safe mode remove that folder...
everithing in limewire is virus.. even some videos...
but not music...
i reccomend to reinstall windows... cos its already F* up

sounds like it was loaded with malware or a virus , form the way you have explained it , just keep an eye on pc to see if anything else is deleting on its own,

Once i had limewire, it was nearly impossible to delete, infact i'm not sure if is is completly gone, I hope it is .
