Technically no. As long as all alcoholic beverages are locked in the trunk (with no in car access) then no ticket is possible. Also (and I figure this should be understood) the driver must be sober.
If the driver is not sober then the police have every right (probable cause) to search the trunk and charge any intoxicated minors with minor in possession of alcohol. As well as charging the over 21's with contributing to the delequence of a minor.
If the driver is sober the police have NO right to search the trunk. If they ask to you CAN say no, and they can't force you to without a warrant.

You are okay because there are no open containers in the car. There is no probable cause to search the trunk, and if they did, they would only find unopened cans. Not a thing wrong with that. On the way home, make certain there are no open containers in the car. Your friends can all be dead drunk. As long as the designated driver is sober and there is no alcohol being consumed, all is good in the world.
You can get a ticket for speeding or careless drining, but that's about it.

Probably not. For starters, they wouldn't check your trunk without probable cause, and also if the cooler was the property of the of-age persons and you aren't drinking any, then you aren't a minor in possession or an underaged drinker.

I think you would only get a ticket if the beer wasw OPEN, since it is illegal to have open alcohol in a vehicle.
