I know this is an extremely distasteful thought, but it seems that with all the unanswered questions from the 9-11 investigation, there is something sinister going on.

I think this presidency had the power and motive to allow 9-11 to occur.

It is widely believed, that the twin towers were "aided" in there demolition.
Engineers have agreed that it's design would not fail under the stated collisions, and would certainly not come apart as the government has explained. I think a compartmentalized group in our government knew about the attacks and set demolition charges to enhance the buildings failure.

The motive was to basically steal the biggest budget surplus in US history and create an excuse to escalate US military actions in the middle east.

I think we have a shameless government in Wash. D.C., it's turned it's back on the American public for greed!

It certainly seems plausible given the information slowly coming out.

Right. I love these conspiracy theorists. They are the same people who claim that Bush is inept, yet he somehow masterminds a plot to "aid" buildings falling down??? You have got to be kidding me.

I would like to know the names of the engineers who claim that the buildings could not come down under those circumstances. They should not be licensed anymore.

I am in construction, and believe it or not, steel melts. And it does not take long for steel to melt in a burning building, let alone one which has just been crashed into by a jet airplane. If you ever get the chance, look at pictures of steel twisted in a small building fire and you will see that it in fact can fail and once one floor fails, the rest will fail. The way the towers collapsed is not surprising, gravity being the greatest force would naturally pull the materials straight down and they would then fan out when they had nowhere to go after hitting the ground, which is exactly what happened.

Why is everything a conspiracy? Why can't people understand that there are other people in the world who hate you because you are you (in our case because we are Americans who live in a free society). The true goal of extreme Muslims and political Muslims is the sweeping takeover of Islam in the ENTIRE WORLD. That is their goal, so guess what, if you are a good-hearted Christian who would never hurt a soul, you are Public Enemy #1 in their book. These are the people who deliberately kill innocent people.

I guess the fact that the airplanes had just taken off and were fully loaded with JET FUEL doesn't mean anything. It is true that the collision of an aircraft would not have been enough to take down the structures, however, the intense heat of the burning jet fuel weakened the steel frame. Take notice that both building started collapsing right where they each were hit. Did they organize at what floor each plane was to hit.
Do you recall recently the gas tanker truck that melted the elevated highway in California? And he didn't hit any bridge supports, just scraped along the cement guide until it burst into flames. The airplane first crash into supports, along with everything else then started the melting process.
I am a conspiracy theorist, I don't think Lee Harvey Oswald work alone, however our government setting charges in the Trade Towers, come on!
The engineers say it should of held, what experiments have they done to prove this? And once one floor gave in, like dominoes, it will gain with each falling floor, not lose.
The problem with this country is everyone wants to blame someone else, but no one wants to do anything about it.
We are all responsible for the society in which we live. With that said then if it is true,( the conspiracy ), then it is our faults for not fixing our own governmental flaws.

Don't be ridiculous. It is not widely believed that the twin towers were aided in their collapse. The reason they fell was not due to the collision. Didn't you see the video? They stood for some time before the heat softened the structure. As for your motive, what the hell are you talking about? Remember the tax cuts we got? Now find you NIKE shoes and go drink your kool-ade while you keep an eye out for those black helicopters.

I believe there is sufficient credible evidence to assume that our government either participated in - or, at the very least, was aware of - the 9-11 disasters.
Since the first day he entered the Oval Office, George W/ Bush intended to invade Iraq for three really 'lame' reasons:
1) The Bush family had a personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein ever since the days of Desert Storm when George H.W. Bush was ridiculed, criticized and humiliated for not 'finishing the job' and ousting Hussein at that time;
2) Cheney and his Exxon-Mobil buddies want all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands - at any cost - so they can get richer and richer and richer feeding America's addiction on cheap, easily-accessible foreign OIL;
3) Ever since World War II, the giant U.S. military-industrial complex realized how profitable 'war' can be (Eisenhower even warned us about this). So, it bought up all the sleazy politicians, hired pricey lobbyists, and formed special interest groups to encourage and promote more 'war'. Thus, the U.S. became entangled in the Korean Conflict; the Cuban Missile Crisis; the Cold War; Vietnam and Desert Storm, all so government contractors like Lockheed-Mart, McDonnell Douglass, GE, Boeing and Sikorsky could make billions from the taxpayers.

A 'new war' was necessary so that newcomers to the ever-growing roster of government contractors could cash in on all that government pork. The Carlyle Group (whose principals include George H.W. Bush and several of his former administration's cabinet members) and Halliburton (a company whose CEO used to be Dick Cheney) had to become unworldly wealthy, which is why the Bilderberg Conference (probably in 1998) decided that Bush and Cheney would win the White House in 2000. The 9-11 'terrorist attacks' gave Bush/Cheney the perfect excuse to attack Iraq, a sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States.

All of this murder of 675,000 Iraqis and 3,400 U.S. soldiers resulted because George W. Bush wanted to "get even" with Hussein, and all for OIL and WAR PROFITEERING. There was no justifiable reason to annihilate Iraq.

Certainly Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and 535 members of the most cowardly, arrogant, incompetent, contemptible, Republican-led U.S. Congress (that turned its back on our Constitution and let Bush/Cheney run ripshod over it) must have a special, oil-soaked corner of Hell reserved for the eternal damnation. -RKO- 05/25/07

Do you think they knew the building would be open on that Sunday ? Which means that it would be occupied by Human beings! If this is the case, then there is little hope for peace in the world, or the survival of the human race.

OMG get a life!

Ask why Bubba didn't go after al-Quaida all his years in office when they were blowing up our embassies and ships etc. overseas.

And how come people who ask this question can't decide whether Bush is an evil mastermind to pull off a stunt like this or a thundering boob who can't tie his shoes? One or the other folks. You can't have it both ways and have it make sense--but Bush-hate trumps reason, doesn't it?

OK I gotta go and analyze these NASA photos and prove the moon landing really took place at Area 51.

Yep, they were in cahoots with the Loch Ness monster and Bigfoot. Also, it wasn't an airplane that crashed, but a repaired UFO from the Roswell site.
