I have Windows XP and have found an old game I used to play when I was younger. I don't want to buy the game if it isn't going to work. Thanks in advance!

If it doesn't work by itself, get DOSBox...it's a DOS emulation software that works very well.

You can sometimes sun older programs like this in "compatibility mode". Right click on the executable that runs the program, and select Properties, then click on the Compatibility tab. Under Compatibility mode, try running it under Windows 95 (as far back as XP goes), since most DOS programs still ran well under Win95.

Surprisingly, it probably will work if it's from the Windows 3.1 days. You might have to twiddle around with it though... come back here if you have any trouble with it.
