FANTASTIC! The original kids could be professors or aurors, solving magical crimes done by Voldemort copy cats (after Harry kills him in book 7).
New sets of kids could come...romances...new skills...so much possibility...

I am a huge Potter fan, but I don't know about a TV series. It would be alright, but I think that it might ruin it for me. Harry Potter is a story that has to end somewhere and I think it is appropriate to end it at book 7.

i think that would be a little to much.
i am a huge fan of Harry Potter, but a TV show is just too much. The movies were and are great, but having a TV show, it just wouldn't be the same... and i don't see how they can do it... its a 7 year time spand your talking about... i don't think it would be very good if they made a TV series out of it.
but thats my opinion

Oh hell no! A TV series would ruin it all. Take a look at other books and movies that were made into TV series. miniseries and made-4-tv movies. Dirty Dancing series, the remake of Carrie. The Neverending Story were flops, just to name a few. A HP series would destroy it.

I think it would be ruined. The story line would be stretched. It would become ordinary, no longer special. What would they do? Solve ordinary problems like teenage drama? who's sleeping with who? who'd doing drugs and who's cheating? We already have enough TV shows about ordinary drama. Don't change Harry Potter into something ordinary, because that's what it is far from.

i think that would be awesome, well other than the actual cast for the movies woul dnot be the sitcom actors.or actress's so the faces of the characters in harry potter movies would be ruin or shattered by us getting used to the tv faces

OMG! What an awesome idea! I never thought about it before!! It would be excellent. I could start from the very beginning, at Harry's first year at Hogwarts then, each book could have like 20 episodes so not one part of the book could be missed, like the film has done. I would definately watch it!!!!

I HOPE NOT! A TV series woulf just kill it. It would throw off the plot for the book, and would just be complicated, if not impossible to pull off. Lets just leave it at movies. lol

I love HARY POTTER! But a tv show may make it too..stupid..silly..and unmagical!
Remember all the other movies that got turned into tv shows and then their ratings plumited!

The movies are bad enough! Each time I see a HP movie I walk out LIVID that something I thought was cool/funny/important was left out. Then again, I hate all movies that were based on books I loved. Stephen King, JKR, Koontz, all those movies tick me off.
