If you want it done right the first time, the hard way is usually the route to take, but it ends up being easier, because you don't have to come back and monkey with something you didn't take the time to do right in the first place.

Always typically.
We measure ourselves and grow through the effort and drive to accomplish difficult things.
If it's easy, we never learn or grow emotionally or as adults.
I love challenges at work and personally. They motivate me.
I admit, I'm a bit odd that way :)
It's served me well in life though.
