his people that it is time to stop the WAR and bring the troops back! It seems the cause in Iraq is over filling his pockets with oil money not terrism. Anyones else feel he is draining the American economy by putting money into a war where we have no reason being in? How long can a president go against the majority of a nation? Lets hope he resigns from embarrasment or is impeached because I see no end to his ill-logical thinking.

I am not for or against any paticular political party--but I am for a better country than we have right now....

My point is that there is going to be no end because we really dont know what we are fighting for...... So whats the prize if we win? Nothing we dont even know what we are fighting for so the war is un-winable

Regardless of how one feels on the Iraq war or Bush in general, running after the mob is exactly what our system of government is meant to prevent. That is why we are a republic and not a democracy. Elected officials are supposed to be able to do what they believe is right, which is not necessarily what is popular, without having to worry about some immediate backlash.

This is really the same principle that you should have heard from Mom a thousand times: 'If all your friends were jumping off bridges, would you too?'

So, folding up and bailing out of Iraq right now, JUST BECAUSE OF POLITICAL OPINION, would be very wrong. I'm not saying there are no valid arguments to be made, just that that one is illegitimate.

I see an end next year. Right around November.

Presidents don't rule by poll (well, most Presidents anyway). They get elected for four year terms, during which they make the decisions they think are right, popular or not.

Running the country isn't like American Idol, much as you seemingly would like it to be.

Because having a President who ran the country based on what was popular in the opinion polls at the moment is what got us 9-11.

Instead of crying about the war why not do something to help end it sooner, like join the military?
