This was his first time. Will he bleed if we do it again? If so, how can he stop?

Unlike the vagina, there's no literal "cherry" to pop for anal sex. It's NOT supposed to make you bleed!
Was there very little blood, and none since, or a lot then and more afterwards? IF the former, and especially if when you employ the good advice here there's no bleeding the second time, I guess you shouldn't worry. Much.
But if there was a significant amount of blood, you need to get him checked out by a doctor as soon as possible. That *could* mean a PERMANENT injury that will mess up his digestion (not to mention his having anal sex again) and even threaten his LIFE--or even so, it may already have healed.
If you can pay for a doctor, do that. If not, although you don't say where you are, there is undoubtedly at least one free or low-cost clinic somewhere in reach. PLEASE don't put this off or ignore it, man!

Lube, lots of lube, give him time to heal! Go slow and easy when you do it again!

Did you see the blood?

It may have just hurt him from lack of lube or him not relaxing enough!

Talk with him, slow and easy, reverse roles and experience what it feels like!

I personally love it big and fast and hard! but that's just me!

I remember this one.... Again lube is a wonderful thing, go slow, use a condom, and just keep an eye on it.. he probably won't do it again, but it could happen, he just has to get used to it.

Might want to use some more lube next time. Try Wet or ID Lube

If it's done right you don't bleed. You have to relax and not let the person use force. PROTECT yourself!

Gentle, gentle, gentle. And use lots of lube, go slow. He needs time to adjust and accommodate you. And if it doesn't feel good to him once you're inside, don't do it anymore.

After gay sex?

Boy, you need to work on your wording. Little bit.

Anyway, most people weather their having straight or gay sex (As you like to put it), bleed the first time.
He almost definitely won't.
BUT, ask your doctor, consults are free.
