Alright "mr" pretty sure I did not claim anywhere that I came up with this statement. I said I agree with the statement and asked if you did. So don't get your panties in a twist.

What I meant by "I don't know where I come up with that crap" was about the other 10% of what I say, not about the statement.

Yep, Makes it easier. Reduces you inhabitions to do it. So if you want to do something and then you get drunk with that in mind you will most likely follow through. Now I use this in the context of meeting someone you were afraid to approach, or do something like jump out of a cake in your birthday suit. Not paint the house, or weed the garden... So Jason. Get drunk already ... Just kidding!!! Don't ever drink because someone else wants you to :) Greg

I was a drunk for 35 years. Based on my experience that is not true. Yes , people say things when they drink but most of what they say is fear and guilt motivated.
To say they speak their real feelings is like saying all the jerks that hide behind a computer to talk crap are really like that in person. I don't happen to believe most of them are.

You know something, I find this very much to be true!
I'm a Black guy who happened to grow up in a mostly-White town. There was many a time when I would drink with Whites, and for somereason they felt that would be the PERFECT time to start breaking out racial jokes, racial remarks, etc... stuff they DARE wouldn't say to me if they were sober.
Just my experience, pal. I'm not bitter or anything...

I agree. When a person gets drunk, the truth comes out. (Not every time)

I very much agree. I think we tend to say things when we are drunk, that we just don't have the nerve to say when sober.
