Instead of granting 'amnesty' to the illegals because 'we need more workers'?

Why don't we let 12 million incarcerated Amercan Citizens pay a $5000 dollar fine and be pardoned? Only non-violent offenders of course. It would put 12 million people in the market for a job. It would ease the burden on the prison system. It would be helpng American Citizens, not helping illegal immigrants.

However the prisoner thing is a good idea. If we could brand then so they could be easily identified as a sub standard specie then I would say Yes to Prisoners.

Plus anyone from another Nation wanting Citizenship could simply break the law and be eligible for the Brand and Release Program.

Sounds good to me. Let criminals out of jail. How are they going to pay $5000, criminals or illegal immigrants? Both the jailed individuals AND the illegals are both criminals. At least as far as I am concerned. Both broke or are breaking the law and you want to let them off?

A couple things need to happen as far as I am concerned.

1. Round up the illegals and send them home. I am all for allowing them to come back.. LEGALLY!! So once they are gone, how do we keep them out? Bring our boys/girls home from abroad and put them on the border to help the border patrol. I realize the law says we can't use them for that kind of a thing, but we change laws all the time.

2. The people who are hiring the illegal immigrants need to pay a $50,000 fine PER immigrant. NOT fine the immigrant. They are simply taking advantage of a huge hole in our country. Send them back and as they cross the border give them the paperwork they need to immigrate legally.

3. Oh and add SPEAK ENGLISH as a requirement for citizenship. Not fluent English, but basic conversational English.

As far as the criminals, why not get a single prison for NON VIOLENT offenders and put it on about 300-600 acres. Put the prison building right smack in the middle. Let them farm and raise hogs and cattle on the other unused part of the land. Teach them some kind of a trade / job skill. While they learn, they get used (yep used) to feed them selves and the excess food and meat gets sold at fair market price. OR raise corn and or soybeans to be sold as a part of bio fuel.

Why don't we build the wall, let anyone in, but charge $5000 at the gate. I know Bank of America will give them all a credit cards to charge it, then we can bail them out when they go bankrupt. Isn't that the American way?

Good argument point! It defintely would be easier to do the back ground checks on the criminals, just pull their prson record. We would know exactly what we were getting. I hope you emailed this thought to your Congress person!

Because they would probably go back to old habits. They would say why work when I can I go steal without harming anyone of course. Why work when I can lie about looking for a job, and instead sit on fat butt collecting welfare checks, etc...

Good idea! And we start fining the ones that don't pay bigger and bigger fines until they are forced to go home themselves.
