With so many pro-bowls under his belt - he is destined for the hall of fame. Is there any active linemen that can even stand in his shadow?

Ogden hasn't really been elite for a couple of seasons. Going by current play level, he's the second-best left tackle in his division behind Levi Jones.

This is a good list, with the # of Pro Bowls within parentheses

Walter Jones (7), Orlando Pace (7), Ruben Brown (9), Olin Kreutz (6), Will Shields (12)

Ogden has gone 10 times to the Pro Bowl.

Pro Bowl berths, especially for Oline, are overrated alot of times. Yes Ogden is a great player, but Willie Anderson is just as good if not better than him. He only have a few pro bowls under his belt but that is more due to the fact that he has played his entire carrer with a Bengals team that until now has been a laughing stock. Hard to get a pro bowl berth when no one ever sees you play and dont know you much.

Marcus McNeill, this kid is a beast. Played as a rookie last year with 2 thats right 2 broken hands, helping LT rush for a whoping 30 TDs. He may not be on Ogden's level yet, remember he was only a rookie last year, but in years to come if he plays like he did last year, he'll be not just as good, but better than Ogden.

Alan Faneca is probably one of the best Guards in the game. I don't care about Pro-Bowls. When even your peers are putting you at elite level that is when you are really there. Oh and NO LINEMAN is DESTINED for the HoF. In the end they are still a Lineman and have a hard case to make.

Yes. Walter Jones, Orlando Pace and Chris Samuels are all easily better than Ogden.

Ogden's skills are eroding quickly. He will probably retire at the end of the 2007 season.
