Everybody loves using the word beef, when they don't like somebody and when they think they are hard. Here is the real, beef means you are hard until someone bites in you and sees hey you are really soft. Steak on the other hand is tough, bite into it and it's going to take awhile before you break it down.

Yes I could see guys saying this. And most steak is tougher than beef. My point is most rappers pretend they are when they are not. Get that!!!!!!!!

Whats beef? Beef is when ya need 2 gats to go to sleep, beef is when ya roll no less than 30 deep.

Steak and Beef are the same. Steak is a cut of beef (and not all steaks are tough).
Consider it like Ford and the Pinto. Ford is a make of car, Pinto is a model of Ford.

You have it all wrong. Rappers dont refer to themselves as beef. So no steak shouldnt be used. Beef is used when referring to anomosity its not about im beef its u got beef? which is slang for drama, anomosity, problems, or dislikin of something

No, you have it wrong. Having "beef" with someone doesn't necessarily mean that you don't like them b/c they think they are hard, it just means you don't like them period. Hence, no it shouldn't be called "steak" b/c that just doesn't sound right.
