Hell no! I haven't bought a pack since I quit because I know what would happen. I would smoke just one... then I might just need another... over time, I would need "just one" more frequently until I was right back where I was. I think its much easier in the long run to just fight through the cravings.

There's a few stores in this area that sell them individually. I used to get one occassionally. But then I would get 4 occasionally. THen I would get 4 every day. Then I would say, What the heck, I'll just buy a pack. Then I would be a smoker again.
I put them down for good 8 months ago. Not one little puff since then. Just think of how BAD it will taste BEFORE you buy the pack.

I cant. Smokes are like heroin to me . If I had one, I'd be back at 2 and a half packs a day overnight. I quit about 5 months ago now and I still want them. Just dont want them every minute anymore. I get a craving about 1-2 times a day.
I am one of those people that dont do anything half way. If I had one, I'd have to start all over.

I'm not a former smoker yet (hopefully, will be soon) but I know I won´t be doing that. Buying a pack just to smoke one? That's throwing $7.15 in the trash can. Why not just ask someone for a cigarette?

Yes. It's the hardest thing in the world to really quit. I usually have decent will power, but if something really stressful happens, you can bet that I'll buy a pack of cigarettes to help cope.

No, because most of the people I know smoke so all I'd have to do is bum one off of them. But, I have a horrible guilty conscience and I don't think I'd be able to handle it if I smoked even one.

No, if I buy a pack, I feel I have to finish it. I'd be better off just bumming one or two.

That's tempting, really tempting. I quit eight years ago and I STILL get killer cravings. But I have this paranoid thing about cancer, so I don't think the stress would be worth it.

that's something i did briefly while in the quitting process.
you might as well take a 5 dollar bill out of your pocket, crumple it up and toss it. maybe you still have the oral fixation. i used toothpicks to pacify that urge.
