I'm trying to get an idea of what others would be thinking when they went to find someone that offers counseling online to help position my site at the engines. You sincere input is really appreciated. My site is http://www.my-counseling-site.com Would also appreciate any and all input as to what you think of this site in general. Again, Thanks!

Well I would suggest using keywords that people in sudden crisis hunt for when in need of a councelor. Life Grieving, abuse, marital. Alot of abused people would type in a search engine... "i feel crazy" "am I crazy" "crying all the time" and "what is wrong with me" "black sheep" is probably another good one. "loss of loved one" "failed relationship"

Also, would like to know what your services charge? May would use sometime. Thanks for your time, and God bless.

I am not condoning this, but there is a person in California who gives counseling online or on the phone and you pay by credit card. I would search Metacrawler (search engine) and try "online counseling" and check the option exact term and see where it goes. Also "counseling by computer", "online therapy", "therapy by computer".
I see now that you are offering a service. I may check out your site at a later time. Good luck! I wonder what your thinking is of the risks involved.

Personally I think that online counseling would be highly unproductive. You need to see the person, body language as well as words.

Many times people don't show their feelings in words, but do so in body language. How do you propose to do this via the web?

Lastly, I looked at the website...got to tell you that its not impressive and would not make me stop there. One of the first bits of advice I can give you is that "wordy" on the front page is never a good idea. Let the "client" link to the wordy part...when the front page is wordy it makes you go to the next. Second, the bullets at the right at first glance don't look like buttons, they look like text in a long paragraph. Most website builders allow you to place each in 'button' format. Lastly, you need a LOGO...the one you have is obviously picked from a website builder, it makes it look cheap.

Just a couple of thoughts of an outsider looking in.
