Trigonometry is the study of the relationships of the angles and sides of right triangles (triangles with a 90 degree angle).

Sine, Cosine and Tangent are all ratios of the sides of a right triangle.

It a right triangle, the sine of an angle is equal to the length of the opposite side divided by the hypotenuse (side opposite the 90 degree angle).

The cosine of an angle is the length of the side between the angle in question and the 90 divided by the hypotenuse.

The tangent of an angle is the length of the opposite side divided by the length of the side between the angle in question and the 90.

yeh trigonometry includes using the sine, cosine and tangent rules to work out special triangles. for example you have to know that sin 30(in degrees) is equal to 1/2. there are more that you have to know by heart as they don't give you dem in the exams. also trigonometry is used for the trigonometric graphs i.e. sine, cosine and tangent graphs. you must also be able to use the sine and cosine rule to work out the area of a triangle. hope dat helps!!

Trigonometry is the study of right triangle measurements and ratios, useful for calculating indirect measurements.

Sine is the ratio of the opposite side to the hypotenuse of a right-angled triangle

Cosine is the the ratio of the length (in a right triangle) of the side adjacent to an acute angle to the length of the hypotenuse

Tangent is the ratio of the length of the side opposite an angle to the length of the side adjacent to the angle in a right triangle
