You're probably allergic to the stuff youre using. Try some creams that say hypoallergenic. Or, are you shaving your skin dry? You should shower or bathe for at least 5 minutes to let your pores soften up. Also, especially for the armpits and bikini area, always shave in the SAME direction of which the hair grows. this also minimizes bumps tremendously.

First of all, your biggest mistake (one al of us has made when shaving hair anywhere on your body) is shaving against the grain. I know that it will probably give you a cleaner shave than if you shave with the grain. However, shaving against the grain will basically just break the hairs, and not cut them, causing a lot of redness and irritation, and will also cause ingrown hairs and the red spots that you are seeing on your legs. My advice is to wait a few days, maybe two, and then shave again with your same routine (which sounds very thorough), except, this time, shave with the grain, which should prevent the red spots and any other kinds of irritation. Hope this all goes well for you, and if this still doesn't solve your problem, I would say you might want to change moisturizers. Good Luck!

When shaving the hair is being pulled then cut. When that occurs the hair is actually cut shorter than the skin surface. Once the hair begins to grow again it forces the skin out creating a bump. Sometimes the hairs can not make their way out so an infection may occur. My advice is to use an electric shaver or don't shave as often.

The best advice I can give is buy a GOOD razor! No cheap little plastic ones!! I know they are outrageously priced...but if you think about the benefits -- it's worth ten bucks!
Oh and change blades often. The higher end blades last longer than the cheapies, but I find that I get those bumps and red marks when the blade starts to get dull.

yes what wendy says it quite possible.. but, are u shaving daily? because that can cause the red spots also.. but waxing and epilating will generally cause red spots, though they should clear between 1-3 days.. if its anymore u may be reacting to the wax and will need a sensitive skin one next time.. or u may be allergic to the afercare cream/oil.. which case aloe vera gel is tops

Aveeno sensitive skin shaving cream can help, but a lot of people with your problem have to use Nair.

First warm up your skin with hot water, put shaving lotion, not a cream. Shave.....rinse again with hot water, immediately rub Vitamin E oil.
