Yes it is real. You should examine the arguments that debunked the Fox TV claims.

There is no good reason to doubt that men first walked upon the Moon July 20, 1969. There was a TV show that said the Moon landing was a hoax, but other shows refuted it. Watch all of these shows, rather than believing nonsense. It is best to see several opinions about any issue before you make a firm decision or form a belief.

The space shuttle is constantly going through the radiation belts and no one has died from it yet. Yes, people went to the moon. They walked on it. They drove a special car on it. They hit a golf ball on it. They planted a flag on it and a mirror that we bounce laser beams off of. They dug in it and brought back samples. One astronaut dropped a feather and a hammer together. They fell at the same speed. He said it was too bad Galileo wasn't alive to see it. Yes, it was a remarkable achievement, and the naysayers are the liars. They make money selling their conspiracy theory.
I'm sure other answerers will give you links, but I found www.clavius.org to be a pretty good one.

No one has actually given a scientific answer to this question. Most of the supporters seem to believe it because it was reported in the news and it is not accepted as being part of human history. Consider the technical challenges of landing a craft on the moon with a person on it and then having something take off and escape its gravity to return to earth. In the 60's? I don't know... Why haven't we returned and why hasn't anyone else repeated the feat?

If you seriously doubt that we set foot on the moon, that is your perogative. By the way, do you believe that the earth is flat, or that the sun revolves around the earth? (just kidding.)
For some really good information, go to NASA.Gov and check it out, or go to the ABC, CBS, NBC archives and look at it. If you really want to know if we went, google Cape Canaveral or Cape Kennedy, and they should have links to the moon landings.
It may be that the Van Allen Radiation belt was something that the astronauts were protected against. I do know that the technology of the sixties was built to last.
Personally, I believe the moon landings happened. There's only so much you can fake, and the weightless looking shots are way beyond sixties tech.
If you really want to find out for yourself, go to www.enterprisemission.com and ask Richard Hoagland (Science advisor to Walter Kronkite) if they really happened.

Depends on what you want to believe. If you choose to believe that life is a string of giant conspiracies, then no matter what proof is offered, you will never believe that we went to the moon. If, on the other hand, you choose to believe that humans constantly strive to achieve, then the moon landings are easy to believe.
Ask older relatives what they believe. They were alive in '69 - maybe one of them was actually at the Cape to see Apollo 11 lift off?
Personally, I believe that we have gone there - and we will go back again.
The Van Allen Radiation Belts are real but shallow - yes, the radiation would eventually kill someone, but not just from passing through.

Who knows. I was not there to greet who came on the moon or not.May some one else was there. According to tradition it was the queen of china that settled on the moon.
Its true ,however that during solar bursts the radiation from the solar wind could be deadly.you could search under the subject "solar wind and radiation"to find more info.

Well considering there where over 400,000 people involved with the Apollo Program, does anyone think a secret that freakin big could have been kept all this time? I doubt it. Plus if you have a good enough telescope you can see some of our debris and bounce a beam off the reflector we left so ya I have no problem believing we made it.

It is real. The only people who seriously believe the Moon landings were fake are the people like those in the source. All other people are just uninformed. Or more properly, they really don't care and so don't go looking for the facts after hearing some crazy nut case say the landings were fake.
