I got pain in the lower left abdomen, groin and scrotum. Can an ultrasound (scanning) be done for all the above. Can a diagnosis be reached with scanning of only the abdomen and groin?

It would all be done at the same time no one will see you if that's what you are worried about. Stay cool you will be ok.

Yes, they can do an ultra sound.
If it's an inguinal hernia, a simple cough for the doctor is enough to reveal it (since ultra sound is a special procedure and therefore more costly.).
Check with your doctor though. The pain could be caused by any number of things. Let him diagnose, and make a suggestion for the next step.

yes actually i had one done when i had a hernia i had an ultrasound, MRI, and an x-ray done so you might have a hernia if not it might be a hydraseal...dont know about the spelling
