It's a good feelin' to know that some people know something about this great great band. Poco was so much better than the Eagles But they just couldn't quite get that same commercial sucess to keep going. In time it looked like bad weather for the original band and they split up and the members fragmented into other bands.

Timothy B. Schmidt (bassist for The Eagles) fronted this band, and they had a pretty cool ballad called "Crazy Love" from around the mid-late 70's...Schmidt joined The Eagles just before they made "The Long Run" album...

Yes..........they're one of my favorites! I listen to "Heart of the Night" alot. I'm a big fan of the 70's. A good source of information is "The 70's Preservation Society" website.
There, you can search for songs by artist or song title, find out what TV shows were popular in a certain 70's year, and lots of fun stuff!

Yes I have. I remember them when I was a little kid. My dad was a huge fan of the Eagles and the other bands the members became involved in.

Beautiful harmonies, I liked them at least as much as the Eagles. To hear them really at the top of their form listen to the song "Rose of Cimarron." At the very end of the song they're harmonizing in falsetto. Makes the hair stand up!
