I became quite friendly with my neighbors about a year ago. 'Debbie' is now one of my best friends. She has this illusion that her husband would never cheat on her. I know for a fact that if I (or someone else) gave a signal he would go for it in a minute. I try my best to avoid this guy and do NOT flirt with him, etc.
He is a cocaine addict and she is clean 6 months now. She keeps saying, "I know Al loves me, etc.". The guy is a freakin loser and she is delusional. As her good friend what would you do if you were me?

I wouldn't say a word.

Give your friend the benefit of the doubt. If and when she finds out what a loser he is, she will need a close friend to support her. It would be difficult to deal with someone who you think is itching to say "I told you so".

If she never sees him the way you do, you risk losing your friendship.

Keep doing what your doing, because she is going to have to realize that he is a loser, and when she does that is when he will be out of her life.

ask if you can pro ve that he's a loser, and with her consent, flirt with him.... then show her that you had in in the palm of your hands...
