In Bermuda, men wear kneesocks and shorts all the time. Should we extend this custom to this country?

Ummm....Not! This Bermuda shorts custom was the thing men did in America in the 50's and 60's , before the gay community came out in the 70's and led straight men into the realms of how to dress fashionably instead of nerdy. I remember as a kid seeing men in plaid shorts with high white or worse, black socks and leather shoes. Eeeek! It was hideous beyond belief. I can still have nightmares if I think about it too much.LOL
For the sake of us all, don't start wearing them and restart a fashion statement terror. You'll save many children from the embarassment of being seen with their fathers dressed like that. Thank God my father never wore shorts back then. I think he had better taste than most men.

No thank you. Only in sports, like soccer, where guys have to wear long shorts and kneesocks is it cute.

I think it looks horrible! Something that my Grandfather would wear. Not attractive at all to me. I would not give the best looking man in the world a second glance if he was wearing this. Why even wear shorts if you are going to wear knee socks!? Just terrible.
