Please do not cut them.

Veins take deoxegenated blood back to the heart for recycling to the lungs for oxegenation. Arteries then carry the readish rust colored blood to send nutrients to the rest of the body. O2 is the last electron acceptor in the reactions that create usable energy for your body.

Your fingers require oxegenated blood to type messages to your friends. You must deal with some blues veins that are just send back for more oxegen.

Some veins that are reffered to as vericose can become strictured and other veins have taken over their job. this usually is corrected in claves and thighs by cosmetic surgery. In your arm though unless they cause pain I would accept then as part of your unique beauty.

This is normal. The wrist and ankle is a great place to cool the body. One reason for veins being at the surface of skin is to let the heat in the blood leave the body. We have a lot of veins to accomplish this purpose or else we would be hot and sweaty all the time.

This is normal. Light skinned people tend to have veinss that show more readily than dark skinned people. The different colors are because the veins are at different depths in your arm.
