Who was dead when Jack went to the funeral home? and who is Kate living with?

Why would either Jack or Kate care about Locke? He says "I thought you would be there". I think Sawyer is dead.

Well since Jack was having FLASH FORWARDS throughout the whole season ender show...it's someone from the future, and possibly a new character we don't even know about yet...and that will likely be what NEXT Fall's season will be about.

My guess is this person will be introduced later in the season (when we've all forgotten about THIS particular show) and this particular flash forward may be part of how the show wraps up in it's entirety in two years....that's my guess!!!!

I think it's interesting that Jack is trying to get back to the island...WHAT IS IT about the island that they have left undone??? Hmmm....

There is no defenite answer, but as far as im concerned, the only logical answer is that it was John Locke.

Think about it. Locke had no family, not friends before landing on the island, so who would have show up to his funeral? Especially now that Sawyer killed his father.

Leaving the island would have left Locke paralyzed again, therefore resulting in a probable suicide.

And Kate is more than likely living with Sawyer.

I think the person at the funeral home is someone we have not yet met. I don't think that Kate is with Sawyer.
1. those two are caustic together and wont last
2. She certainly wouldn't be rushing home to him after secretly going out to see Jack
3. She was driving a nice car, all made up and fancy like, not Sawyers type, it looked like she had some money

The casket is TOO SHORT to be any adult that is on the island that we have met.

I also think it is too short to be Walt. If it IS Walt, then why would noone show up to the funeral? Why would Jack expect Kate there?

I think it is someone we have yet to meet.......

Also the news article Jack held stated:

"The body of John Lantham of New York was found shortly after 4 am in the 4300 block of Grand Avenue. Ted Worden, a doorman at the Tower Lofts complex, heard loud noises coming from the victim's loft. Concerned for tenants' safety, he entered the loft and found the body hanging from a beam in the living room. According to Jaime Ortiz, a police spokesman, the incident was deemed a suicide after medical tests. Latham (sic) is survived by one teenaged son. Memorial services will be held at the Hoffs-Drawlar Funeral Home tomorrow evening."

Hoffs-Drawlar is Flash Forward.

This has been asked a million times.

My guess is that Juliet was in the casket and that Kate is living with Sawyer. Guess we'll have to wait until next season to find out.
