I tried a fence but they flyed right over it.

Getting rid of geese can be tricky. They can be aggressive and once they have found a good spot to hang out, they don't like to leave.

Nothing beats a big dog to keep them from settling on your land in the first place. I assume you live in a regular sized yard, and not on a farm. Dogs will also chase them off if they are there now, but you need a big one that is not afraid of the birds, especially if they are nesting.

Predator decoys like owls and hawks work ok, but they need to have movement, or be set up high.
