Getting a compliment from a handsome men is more flattering. We like knowing that we can attract those we are attracted to. Getting a compliment from an ugly man is OK, but he won't hold our interest.

Ok, enough of this BS a compliment is a compliment. It depends on who the man is and what he is complimenting. If it was my boss complimenting my work on a project it would mean a lot more than my neighbor saying I look pretty today, no matter what either of them look like.
A compliment means more coming from someone whom you respect than it does from some random person. The nature of the compliment makes a difference too.

Okay, so you have all the PC answers....I'll try a little honesty...as sad as the truth really is...
If an unattractive man pays a compliment, its nice. But it doesn't mean as much, because whether we want to admit it or not, unattractive people are not given as much credence as good looking people. When a handsome man gives a compliment, it is presumed to be worth more...as we value the attractive more.

A compliment is a compliment. Glad to get one from man or woman, cute or not so much.
Don't look at people for who they seem on the outside. These bodies are only containers for the spirit.
I have met ugly people who were beautiful by traditional standards and people who others considered to be not so cute that have become golden beings of light and beauty after i got to know them. They literally glowed...

how the woman feels about the man the ''ulgy man'' may not make her as confident or feel as much like shes beautiful. or if she likes the ''ulgy man'' she may just brush off the handsome mans compliment. so its all depending on the men and if u dont know either well then you r just getting compliments

a compliment is a compliment it doesn't matter who tells it to you but if a person is snobby they would prefer a compliment from someone that is good looking because some people are that shallow.
