I've bought my VAIO VGN-BX561B Notebook last August and ever since, it was heating a lot. After the first day of use, I went back to the store from where I bought it and told them, and they said it was normal. Now do you think it is normal, for it is really hot! And what should I do?

PS: my warranty is still valid untill next August.
Thanks for your help.

So get it checked again and you'll have to check your internal Fans and specially the Battery because sony has bad reputation for blowing up batteies

RTFM. Your VAIO User Manual should tell you the normal operating temperature range.

Put a meat thermometer under it for a few minutes to get a fairly accurate temperature reading, then call Sony tech support if it is out of the published range. Never trust the selling store.

yep , I have one of those , they have a input fan at the bottom , and two fans to the back , they are installed with temp shutoffs( so they will turn off if they overheat) , all laptops will get hot , and it will depend on where you have it , if it is on something which doesnt allow it to cirulate air , it will heat up , the unit in itself will heat up somewhat , but I think yours seems to still well in between it's limits
