I am glad you are doing so well. You have to understand, the economy is incredibly unstable now. Because of paying for Bush's War and tax cuts for billionaires we are now over a trillion dollars in debt to Communist China. As long as the Communists keep buying T Bills, no problem, but they are expected to shift to higher yielding securities in the near future, then interest rates will soar. Oil prices are high because the value of the dollar has collapsed again because of the war and insolvency caused by tax cuts for billionaires. This country manufactures and sells very little on the international market any more--jobs and factories are overseas. It will all come tumbling down, unstable economies always do eventually. I hope it does so under one of your Republican presidents so the blame is placed where it properly belongs. And I hope that rather than having a moderate reformer like Franklin Roosevelt to reconstruct the economy once it has collapsed, we get a radical reformer to nationalize private assets like oil companies, insurance companies, drug companies and broadcasting companies that have always acted against the public interest.

You almost went broke when the economy was great? What did you do bet on the dot.com craze? The economy, despite your opinion, is great for the rich. The average worker has seen his dollar buy less and less over the years and yet has not received an equal raise in pay.

The economy is the worst it has EVER been.

Why do republicans deny reality?

To BUZZ: You are correct about Congress raising the debt ceiling - twice just in a few months. America is in debt NINE TRILLION DOLLARS. And I loved your observation about "if you borrow a million dollars and consider yourself a millionaire....then, yes, the economy is great."

That was brilliant.
