Someone I need help with Sims 2 for PS 2?

Okay well I'm just starting to play Sims. I know how to make the characters but everything else I'm so confused with. I have it for PS 2. a.k.a Playstation 2. But I have like NO IDEA how to play. Can someone please help?

For Sims 2 you have to pick your person's zodia sign and then pick a life goal for them to achieve. It can be a lil' confusing at first, but it gets easier as you go. For the goals you have to look at what they need and take a job that will help fulfill that goal. You make friends and all that good stuff as before and as you excell you can move. Hope this helps!!
