In pokemon pearl is there a cheat when thorwing the pokeball to catch rare pokemon like azelf easier.?

Well there isn't but I like messing around holding A down when I throw the ball and tapping it when the pokeball shakes. I just do it to see if it works so do'nt count on it to work.

no you just have to weaken it enough to capture it.(Try to get him in the red). Or you can do what I did and try different kinds of Pokeballs (I used the master ball).

try to weak him and get him frozen par sleep try to use ultra pokeballs
