If you are not sure about the bark you can buy hay for rabbits at petstores which is safe for them and really comfortable for them to sleep on.

Bark can actually cause respitory problems for rodents. The best bedding is hay/straw or a shaved paper poduct that is sold in pet stores

As long as your rabbit is inside, in a solid-bottomed cage, it shouldn't need bedding. Provide your rabbit with a litter pan with rabbit safe litter (not clay cat litter, pelleted pine litter like feline pine or woody pet works best.) You should never use pine or cedar shavings as they cause respiratory problems. Kiln-dried pine pellets are fine.
