I have never had panic attacks in my life, what does it all mean?

I was on this roller coaster once at Magic Mountain. The floor dropped out, and we suddenly plunged downward at the speed of gravity.
Talk about a panic attack!!!

The floor is metaphysics. Despite all the efforts of religion, science and philosophy...it hasn't been proven that there is, actually, a floor really there.

Most people need (for comfort) to have at least one of the three to rely on. I have philosophy. People who rely on religion or science don't tend to recognize that mankind hasn't proven that there is a floor. I used to rely on religion and science.

When I "switched" to philosophy, I went back to Magic Mountain for another ride.

Panic attacks can often result from denying one's purpose and living a life that isn't fulfilling one's inner need for spiritual direction and purpose. So, yes, I find that there is a connection because metaphysics is a direction many need to go when physics doesn't give all the answers for their lives.

There are plenty of people who have no metaphysical experiences at all who have panic attacks. I'd say there's no connection.

Lol, well, I suppose contemplating the fundamental nature of reality can do that.
