Why do people refuse to be Cocaine is natural drug?

Not that it means its any better for you but its compleatly natural.

Cocaine is an alkaloid found in the leaves of the coca plant... end of story.

They use Chemicals to *EXTRACT* the cocaine out of the coca leaf because theres only about 1 miligram of cocaine per 1 gram of leafe, its far to hard to snort 60 grams of leafe to get a single dose.

The end product is 100% cocaine (if extracted properly) from 1% cocaine when it was still in the leafe. All they do is remove the plant matter and other alkoliods from the leafe.

The chemicals they use to extract the cocaine are man made however none of them are in the final product and do anything but basicly "drag" the cocaine out of the leafe and is then filterd out.

So again why are people refuse to belive this?

it's natural when it is coming out of the ground. once you mess with it in ANY way it's no longer "natural". you kinda contradicted yourself when you said the use chemicals to extract it. The Coca plant is natural cocaine is not.

and i agree.. what IS the point of this question??? cocaine is really not that natural...and anyway i've never heard this refusing.. maybe b/c its a designer drug..idk

Cocaine isn't fair trade. The children who are forced to grow cocaine are treated very badly.

I don't know anyone personally who doesn't understand that the drug is derived from a plant.

There are plenty of "natural" substances that can kill you just the same. I just really don't get what you're trying to accomplish here.

its the people who use cocaine who refuse to believe i mean it would be hardly "cool" to know that what they are shoving up there nose is from the same plant that helps to produce chocolate or to spaced out their heads to care

It's a psychologically addictive "natural" drug. I prefer to stay away from it.
