Is it still 720x480? I don't think it is anymore...

1024x768 and 1280x768.

1024X768 has become the most common. But 800x640 is a very close second. So if creating web pages, you will want to be sure they look good in BOTH resolutions.

NOW...the size you have listed (720x480) is NOT a standard screen resolution size. It is a video size that matchs the display of a CRT TV. So are you really asking about screen resolution, or the size used for avi and mpg videos? If videos, then 720x480 is still considered "full screen" for making movies.

Based on some data I gathered on visitors visiting my websites and blogs, I can conclude that 1024 * 768 is most popular (about 78% used that) followed by 1280 * 768 and 800 * 600. A few wide screens were also there.

I use 1280 x 800 Wide screen

Usually 800x600. I use 1024x768.
